Weilong Wines Australia
Construction has begun on the Mildura-based ‘Weilong Winery’, which is operated and owned by Weilong Wines Australia.
ISECO have been involved with the project alongside Linney engineering since its infancy, assisting on all things refrigeration. For this particular project, we have decided to utilise all-natural refrigerants, so as to ensure this winery is future-proofed against any phase-downs included in the Montreal Protocol.
The system chosen for this project utilises Ammonia as the primary refrigerant with an ethanol Brine as the second refrigerant.
The initial first stage of the project will be 3,800kWr allowing for up to 26,000T Crush, with future allowance up to 15,000kWr for a total of 168,000T Crush.
ISECO have also been involved in the design of the hot water system, which utilises boilers to achieve water temperatures of 70°C to service the wine making and cleaning services.
The project is slated for completion first quarter of 2019.
