ISECO have been assisting the joint venture developers to finalize the design for this demanding site with multiple chiller and freezer rooms, icemakers and temperature controlled staging areas.

The chosen design uses low charge ammonia refrigeration systems which then serve chilled water and medium and low temperature brine systems. This allows high efficiency whilst still satisfying risk management requirements.

To improve the operability and efficiency of the many freezer rooms, ISECO have been working   with the team to achieve an acceptable solution using high performance horizontal air curtains and where these cannot fit, dehumidified air at freezer door openings.
