ISECO presented an update on synthetic refrigerants and natural refrigerants and reiterated the question that was asked at the recent Gustav Luarentzen conference in China- will we stop at the next generation of HFOs and so called fourth generation refrigerants , or is now the time to consider natural refrigerants such as ammonia , carbon dioxide and hydrocarbons as long term options.

In development is a Ammonia Code of Practise which has been produced by Refrigeration Industry professionals, WorkSafe Victoria, CFA and the MFB.
